BARBARA FISCHER, 52, of West Bloomfield, died Nov. 7, 2003. She was a child psychologist and an advocate for health care for women and children. She was also a founding member of the Michigan Women Psychologists and one of the first presidents; she was the president of the Michigan Chapter of the American Psychological Association and was on the board of Haven.
Mrs. Fischer is survived by her husband, Dr. Howard Fischer; daughter, Suzanne Fischer of Minnesota; mother, Miriam Feldman; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Diane Feldman of Detroit. She was the loving daughter of the late Dr. Paul Feldman.
