Hi Yaacov! To bring you up to date....I spoke to Ronnie this week. He said that he has some info on his father in his safe deposit box, but he wouldn't be able to get to it for a couple of weeks. I hope he follows through. He did say that he died in Anderson, Indiana, which is what I suspected. I would think that the county would send a copy of the death certificate upon request, and I could do this if necessary. Also, Ronnie said that many years ago, he and Grandpapa were at the cemetery and Ronnie asked him if the name Sposeep had been that in the old country. His response was "yes" it was always that. My personal take on that is that it wasn't unusual for immigrants to not want to acknowledge or remember painful experiences of the past. I mailed Ronnie the research you had done and I hope he will be as excited as Sherry and I are.
